Il corso copre le basi delle reti Cisco: come sono fatte le reti locali, il funzionamento degli switch e dei router, l'indirizzamento IPv4 con il sottoretaggio, i livelli di trasporto e applicativo del TCP/IP, la gestione delle VLAN e dei trunk, il routing tra VLAN, OSPF e la ridondanza delle topologie. Si segue un percorso in più fasi, con lezioni, laboratori pratici e studio autonomo, pensato per chi vuole preparare la certificazione CCNA ma anche per i tecnici di supporto che si occupano di installare, far funzionare e verificare reti Cisco di base. Chi lavora in assistenza informatica, amministrazione di sistema o nei reparti IT di piccole e medie strutture può trarne una lettura più chiara di come i dispositivi comunicano e di dove cercare la causa quando una rete non funziona.
